Our Purpose & Team
Moorestown Township Public Schools participated in the "Arts Integration Leadership Institute" grant/program sponsored by the Foundation for Educational Administration, New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association, and the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation in Partnership with the Program for Teacher Preparation, Princeton University, and Creative NJ in July 2015, July 2016, July 2017, July 2018, July 2019. As well as virtually in July 2020 and July 2021.
Each district's team designed and implemented an arts integration project over the following school year (15-16) (16-17) (17-18) (18-19) (19-20) (20-21).
Our project was to create an online resource as well as offer professional development opportunities to promote and support arts integration as an avenue for engagement throughout all content areas.

2015-2016- Created website as well as PD session on Arts Integration offered June 2016

2016-2017- Expand website resources as well as additional PD opportunities in arts integration

2017-2018- Continue to expand website as well as professional development opportunities to organically grow to integration of the arts within our school system.

2018-2019- continue to expand website as well as professional development opportunities to organically grow to integration of the arts within our school system. Similar timeline and project goals as previous years except specific to elementary.

2019-2020- organically grow our span of arts integration throughout our elementary classrooms. Our plan is to further develop elementary-based arts integration professional development through grade-level and building-based workshops/sessions.

2020-2021- further develop our teachers through arts integration remote learning resources as well as virtual professional development.

2021-2022- further develop the arts integration reach throughout our district to include a community event as well as continue to share teacher resources through professional development
